About Pawtounes

Pawtounes is a universe of cat hair, childhood memories and a love of geek and retro references. It’s a blog designed for anyone who’s ever seen a cat pawtouning and thought: “Now that’s pure happiness.”

Why this name?

The name Pawtounes was born from a gentle play on words:

• Paw: for the paw. Because paw pads are sacred.
• Tounes: a French touch, inspired by “toons”, the cartoons that lulled our childhood.

And in French? Pawtounes is simply pronounced patoune. The perfect word to represent the blog’s universe: tender, a little wacky, and deeply feline.

A story of paws (and pixels)

I grew up surrounded by cats, each more endearing than the last. I also grew up with a controller in my hand, in games full of collectibles to collect, without always knowing why. Two worlds I’ve always loved and which, over time, have come together naturally.

Between compulsive pawing of cushions and pixel coin hunts, Pawtounes was the obvious choice.
